Lest We Forget is a multi-media show that was conceived by Kipling devotees John O'Hagan, Val Marsden and Graham Pirt (Cockersdale), Dave Webber & Anni Fentiman and John Morris. They are all leading lights from the English folk scene and at the forefront of acappella and harmony singing in the UK.

Kipling (1865-1936) was a prolific writer & Nobel Laureate whose works covered a wide range of subjects. 'Lest We Forget' is a brief history of Britain as seen through his eyes. He was courted by heads of state during his lifetime but in the years following the second World War he was thought of as an imperialist and his popularity waned. Bellamy (1944-1991) disagreed with this view and in 1973 he started putting tunes to Kipling's words. Peter was a Fellow and Vice President of the Kipling Society. His wonderful musical settings, using both traditional and self penned tunes, have enticed many thousands of people across the world into a love affair with Kipling's verse and have helped restore an interest in the work of this great writer.
