Peggy Seeger is a member of the North American musical
Seeger family, a singer of traditional
Anglo-American songs and an activist songmaker. She lived in England for 35 years with
singer/songmaker Ewan MacColl and now lives in North Carolina. She has recorded 21 solo albums and
participated directly in more than a hundred others.
Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson are quite simply an integral part of the English Folk scene. Their contribution has been enormous in terms of their recordings, performances and collaborations. This is reflected in their many accolades from the music industry, academia and their matching MBEs.
Peggy, Martin and Norma have been at the forefront of their profession for many years. They continue to demonstrate their love for singing and for songs of substance. Innovative and passionate, they provide inspiration and encouragement for thousands of others.
